We bring our dog Big Hoss to Shores for grooming and a wash. the vet tech Lauren and the rest of the staff were incredible. Usually he doesn’t do very well with grooming or washing because he’s terrified of water. But somehow, someway Lauren had him so calm. He was acting like a sweet little angel and being such a good boy. She is like the dog whisperer! If your dog doesn’t do well around other people I’d highly recommend shores. They manage to take care of the rowdiest dogs and leave them super clean and looking SPIFFY! Go to shores!

Shores Animal Hospital has been more than a veterinary clinic for us — they became part of our family. For the last 2 ½ years, they lovingly cared for our sweet Pomeranians, Kiara and Simba, who both lived long, beautiful lives of 17 ½ years. From the very beginning, the team treated our pups with such tenderness, respect, and genuine love. They never rushed us, never made us feel like “just another appointment,” and always went above and beyond to make sure Kiara and Simba were comfortable and happy.
What touched us the most was how deeply they cared, not only for our pups, but for us as their family. Every checkup, every concern, every phone call — they were right there with kindness and reassurance. We always felt seen, heard, and supported, and we knew without a doubt that our babies were in the very best hands.
The hardest part of our journey was saying goodbye. Kiara and Simba passed within three months of each other, and our hearts were broken. But the Shores team walked with us through those painful days with such compassion and grace. They gave us the gift of peace — making Kiara and Simba’s transitions over the rainbow bridge gentle, loving, and dignified. In our deepest grief, they surrounded us with comfort, patience, and understanding that we will never forget.
We are forever grateful to Shores Animal Hospital for everything they gave to Kiara and Simba — and to us. They didn’t just provide care; they gave our pups love, and they gave us strength. We will always hold them in our hearts with the same gratitude and love we hold for our precious Kiara and Simba.
