I love love love this place! The nurses there are all super nice and patience with my beast of a dog! Lol! I am especially fond of Jena. 😍 She went over and beyond her call to duty and I will be forever grateful. Thank you for making my 1st and 2nd experience a memorable one! I will recommend you all to every furbaby parent I know! 😄😉😊😁

We had to rush my sweet girl in for some type of allergic reaction, her whole face was swollen and she had welts all over her body.
I called, they told me I could bring her in and to call back on the way so we could have all the information they needed done by the time we arrived.
As soon as we came in they immediately took her in and began working on her and got her taken care of. She was in rough shape and I was so scared, but the environment and staff are so welcoming, and you can tell they care about the fur babies they help right away.
They came in and out of the room to tell us what was going on and answered any questions we had, everyone was so kind and helpful. They brought her back to us as soon as they could and finished up whatever they needed to do and getting her meds together.
I think we were in and out in under an hour, with me feeling very relieved, and my girl starting to slowly lose the puffiness and welts.
I am so thankful we came to your office! Thank you so much for helping my sweet beauty, we will definitely be back in when she's ready for a regular exam!

My usually sweet and loving Sadie had a bit of a fear meltdown in the office. She ended up having to get a muzzle and I had to put it on because she was so frightened that she would have bitten them.
She is a rescue that lived her first few years in a car with two other dogs and a guy. He was thankfully persuaded to surrender the 3 to Flagler Humane. She sadly spent two months there as she wasn't house broken and no one that encountered her was willing to make the extra effort to train her. When I brought her home she literally hugged me. She is now socialized but going to the vet is another thing.
Anyway, the staff and Dr were so patient, kind, and understanding of her fearful behavior. I will definitely continue to take all my pets there for outstanding care.
I also read in the reviews here that some felt that they were trying to up-sell tests and products that the reviewing owners felt their pet didn't need. They believed that these things were only offered for the business to make an extra buck. My experience couldn't be further from that. I was given a list on a tablet of recommended tests and two products they felt Sadie would benefit from. I asked questions about everything they were suggesting and did a line item veto of a couple that I felt were not complete necessary. The items I refused were good suggestions and the rationale for them was throughly explained. I never felt that they were put in there as an up-charge but as a possible need though not completely necessary but as a choice for me to make. This practice is allowing the owner to be fully informed of the options and allow the owner to participate and be a partner in the care of their beloved pet. I never felt pressured or that I was a bad momma for declining a couple of things. Please always ask questions so that you not only learn but make decisions about your pets care that are informed.
Sadie is a catahoula leopard and pitty mix. She is one of my lifes loves.

After a series of incredibly stressful days, I cannot thank Shores Animal Hospital enough—especially Brittney, the veterinary nurse, who went above and beyond to help get my sweet baby in for a second opinion and an urgent FAST scan. This clinic works seamlessly with pet insurance and offers very reasonable rates, which made a huge difference in such a difficult time.
The clarity, compassion, and professionalism of the doctors here are top-notch. Dr. Bell was exceptional—she got my baby scheduled for urgent surgery within two days and took the time to sit down with my family and explain everything in detail. It turned out my pup had a 3-inch splenic mass that was actively bleeding and needed immediate removal. Thanks to their quick action and skill, the surgery was a success.
We’re now two days post-op, and my sweet boy is already acting like himself again. I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without the support of this amazing team. Their acceptance of both pet insurance and CareCredit made the whole process much less overwhelming.
Shoutout as well to the other wonderful nurses, Lauren and Brie, who were incredibly kind and attentive throughout, and to Colleen at the front desk—she was so patient and helpful while walking me through the insurance and CareCredit process. This team is truly outstanding.
